Sunday 13th October 2019 – Rail and Snail Trail (part of our 30th Anniversary Celebrations)

Sunday 13th October 2019                                                                       

RAIL AND SAILTRAIL – 11.00am- 2.30pm    

Focusing on the parishes of Lymm and Thelwall, this walk links local rights of way with three past and present trade routes running through the area – The Bridgewater Canal, The Warrington – Altrincham Railway (now forming part of the Trans Pennine Trail) and the Manchester Ship Canal.

Approx. 6 miles. Please bring a packed lunch.

Guided Walk – Longer distance countryside explorer walk. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Sturdy footwear and clothing to suit the weather are essential.
