Southport more than just the start of the TPT
Don’t come to Southport to set off on the TPT without spending some time around the town and its surroundings. With all due respect to Hornsea at the other end of the TPT, it’s a pity that the prevailing winds make Southport a better place to start at than to finish at, otherwise a relaxing few days here at the end of your ride would be a welcome tonic.
