Donate to the Trans Pennine Trail

The Trans Pennine Trail has a fundraising arm, The Friends of the Trans Pennine Trail, who would like to ask you to consider donating to help secure the future of the Trail. This is a really simple process and would make a huge difference to the project.

The main office of the TPT is purely funded by small donations from partner Local Authorities across the route.  As we all know, during these very difficult financial times, these contributions are at risk and are decreasing.  This puts TPT National Office at risk and this could have a catastrophic impact on the route itself as there would be no central team there to monitor enquires, market the route as an entity, help to lobby and raise the profile of the route, and many, many other things they do.

Your funding could help us with many things; providing the funds to allow the TPT to be represented at national events, ensure displays are available for the main office and also our supporter network, leaflets and literature are available to market the route, etc.

Please make a secure on-line donation using your credit / debit card today. It’s a very simple process. All you need to do is visit the website. Click here for more details.

In the search box ‘Donate to Charity’ enter ‘Friends of the Trans Pennine Trail’, select ‘Donate Now’ and follow the step by step instructions. Payment done!

Or you can send us a cheque by downloading the Donation Form and returning to ‘Friends of the TPT’ or emailing to the TPT office for our attention.

Don’t forget if you are a UK taxpayer, you can Gift Aid donations. This allows ‘Friends of the TPT’ to reclaim the tax on your donation and make it worth even more at no extra cost to you. Just complete the Gift Aid section when making the donation.
