Een nationale kust tot kust route voor recreatie en vervoer - voor wandelaars, fietsers en (gedeeltelijk) ruiters
De Trans Pennine Trail (TPT) is een spannende route voor wandelaars, fietsers, wielers en ruiters die de Noord- en Ierse zee met elkaar verbinden, het passeren van de Pennines, langs rivieren en kanalen en door enkele van de meest historische steden in het noorden van Engeland.
De Trail van kust-tot-kust tussen Southport en Hornsea is 215 mijlen (346km) lang.
Een noord-zuid route aansluiten van Leeds en Chesterfield, een stimulans om York en een aansporing tot Kirkburton betekent dat er ongeveer 370 mijlen (595km) van Trans Pennine Trail beschikbaar om te verkennen.
Een geweldige manier om de Trail te verkennen is via een van onze uitstekende prijs gedrukte kaarten verkrijgbaar via onze webshop .
De Trans Pennine Trail wordt in kaart gebracht en ondertekend helemaal, hoofdzakelijk autovrij en is verrassend niveau gezien de dramatische landschap langs de weg. Gemakkelijk gradiΓ«nten en verharde paden maken vele secties geschikt voor families, zacht uit te oefenen en mensen met rolstoelen en kinderwagens. Dus of te voet, paard of op de fiets; voor een dag of langer; alleen met vrienden en familie - de Trans Pennine Trail (TPT) kan voor elk wat wils te bieden.
Als u onderweg een probleem tegenkomt, kunt u dit rechtstreeks melden aan ons Nationaal Bureau via e-mail, telefoon of sociale media.

πLorraine Hague and the Sheffield Area Social Cycling Group completed a four-day coast-to-coast adventure from Southport to Hornsea.
πJessica and Sebastian Coultas shared their fantastic multi-generational ride, organised by Jessica to raise money for @dovehousehospice
πOne determined cyclist tackled the full Trail on a folding bike, carrying all their gear and overcoming muddy, slippery sections along the way.
