We completed the Southport to Hornsea route - starting Friday 11th November and finishing on Saturday night!

The weather varied from initial gale force winds (Southport to Liverpool) to rain, then hailstones in Manchester.  Freezing clear overnight climbing over Woodhead and sunshine on the Saturday across from Selby to Hull and Hornsea.

Big, big thanks go to Withington Cycles of Manchester who came out by bike to give Steve a new tyre after his was shredded, resulting in the inner tube blowing up.  Rob Pollen from the shop came out in the dark on a Friday night to help.

Overall a fantastic experience and we also raised over £1,000 for Martin House Children's Hospice of Boston Spa, West Yorkshire.
