Below are some extracts of public feedback on the Trail.
I've just completed the TPT (cycling) with my sons to mark my 60th Birthday. I found it tiring but very enjoyable and do appreciate all the work that must have gone into getting it up and running - thank you and thanks to all those involved. It gave us all a great sense of fun and achievement. K Clarke, Liverpool

Thank you for allowing Derbyshire to have temporary custody of the Lottery Award. It certainly has helped to raise the profile of the TPT with our Members, and was very well received at our recent Full Council meeting. The experience of completing the TPT has been absolutely fulfilling for us both. We're so pleased to have discovered the TPT before it was too late for me to enjoy its entiriety. Happily though, rather than tiring me, the sporty pace was invigourating. Our eternal thanks to all involved with the TPT - we can't wait to do it again. L Talaga and Son - Aug 07
Received the certificates in the post this morning, thanks for all your help and I'm sure we will be able to use them as an incentive for other members to try the trail next year. Ardwick Youth Centre
I have really enjoyed the trip and the Trail is a credit to all of those who have worked hard towards it creation and upkeep. Keep up the good work. Thanks again for a great asset to the North of England. I intend to put it to further use and will encourage others to do the same. J Jordan - Sept 07
Harvesting finished. Ploughing for winter almost done. Migratory geese on the mudflats. People and wildlife making the most of an early autumn. What a great place to be out riding on a magnificent day. (Member of public to John Richardson, Volunteer Ranger - 07/09/07

It was a pleasure to see so many people out on the Trail throughout our trip. Liz, Linda and Steve - 09/10/07
Sad to say I won't be able to do my volunteer ranger duties any more. I'm emigrating to Australia two weeks today. Thanks ever so much for everything you do in keeping us informed and helping to make the trail such an incredible resource for everyone to use. It's brought me and my family an awful lot of pleasure and allowed me to commute to work in relative safety. Without you and your colleagues that wouldn't be possible. Thank you. T James - 18/10/07
Many, many thanks for all your help and assistance in guiding us (a group of ladies in our 70's) as we successfully competed the TPT section from Southport to Liverpool. I would also like to thank you for the certificates, which were thoroughly appreciated by all the group…. Once again, I cannot over emphasise my appreciation for all your help. R Morgan - 23/11/07
I want to say how wonderfully helpful you were in the summer (June 07) when the floods were flooding and we were about to set forth on the TPT. We raised a staggering £42k for the Who Cares Trust (check out wwwthewhocarestrust.org.uk) and 53 of us on bikes and 10 in the support team had a great time on the TPT and told a lot of people about our adventures! Many many thanks to you and all your team and please be assured your efforts were hugely appreciated. Biking for Children in Care
