Workday Support: (tbc)
Where: Mid-way between Bullhouse Bridge and Hazlehead Bridge (tbc)
Meet: Hazlehead Bridge Station – or on site around 10.15 if you’re travelling from Penistone direction.
What will we be doing? Working with chain saw artist extraordinaire Stephen Tarr to create a sculpture alongside the Trail.
Parking: Please arrive by bike/on foot if possible as it’s very awkward parking at this site. (NB: Don’t park on the wide pavement at the bottom of the access!) If you need to come in your car, please get in touch for advice – or drop us an email if you’d like a lift from Penistone, leaving around 9.40am.
Are always welcome. No need to tell us you’re coming, just choose a nice day/task and turn up! If you can only stay for a couple of hours that’s no problem. Ring/email if you have any queries, or have a look at the Frequently Asked Questions section on the website – www.TPTcv.btck.co.uk
For all workdays…
You’ll need to wear… Warm old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or torn, sturdy footwear and gloves – waterproof if it’s wet -to protect your hands.
Do bring… A packed lunch – we’ll provide tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits in the morning and afternoon. We do have tools and equipment, but you’re welcome to bring your own (in good condition) if you prefer. Don’t forget the waterproofs!
If you have any questions: have a look at FAQ on the website; send me an email, or you’re welcome to ring me on 07704333445.
